yoga
After 5 years of dedication with regular classes, Lisa has decided to move premises, thus ending another era at Conti. However, the universe is still determined to have us continue with yoga, and so Chitra has commenced Wednesday evening classes, while Katie begins on Tuesday nights. See calender for details.
garden shed
The sunny weather has brought a change of activity here and we are pleased to offer another space for guests to enjoy. The old shed has been renovated to form an inside/outside seating space-perfect for trapping some sun and keeping the breeze away during mid seasons. Makes a great studio space too, so bring an easel!
Ti Pi
Dave has graciously decided to leave his tipi erected in the Conti grounds for awhile; and you can now enjoy this special accommodation experience, .
We expect the tipi will be popular, complementing the existing accommodation; and also extending the opportunity for both individuals and groups to experience this sacred space. Please request the tipi option at time of booking.
conti~cottages
All those guests who may have preferred an extra degree of comfort and/or privacy, will have occasional access to our 2 new cottages. Both cottages have been re-appointed and come with self contained bathroom facilities and period furniture.
Current status:
Tree House Cottage is available for holiday rental on a regular basis. We have had a good response and look forward to further bookings.
Garden Cottage is again available for renting. Comprising separate double and single rooms with self contained en suite.
yoga room
we have finally done it-yes an efficient GAS heater in the yoga room-phew, wipe the brow!
shiatsu room
a dedicated shiatsu room has been located with easy access to the rear verandah. Tatami floor mats have been fitted and the space is ready for treatments.
massage room
our Studio has recently been converted to a comfortable dedicated massage room, with stair access to the rear verandah. Ask at Reception to arrange a treatment.
upstairs shower room
we now provide a separate shower/toilet/vanity area with direct access from the side verandah. The old showers have been removed and a complete new fit out is available.
kitchen extension
Asha has been busy with the help of Zalan and Wwoofas, to create an inside/outside lounge area next to the Guest Kitchen. A new verandah provides ready access from the kitchen to the side garden. We hope you enjoy this revised layout

we have had a plethora of wwoofas in recent months and their joyful assistance towards the various projects has been wonderful. This really is a great exchange and we highly recommend this activity to anyone traveling. Wwoof (Willing Workers On Organic Farms)- ing is on offer in most countries around the world.
altered hours of operation
as the Sanctuary is operating with fewer staff resources presently, we have decided to continue our attempt at restricting access to Friday / Saturday / Sundays except during school terms, while the Saturday Banquet continues attracting a steady clientele. Groups are welcome to enquire about weekday workshops, when arrangements can still be made to service their needs. Please refer to contact details.
