At the beginning of 2009, Continental House had a name change to Hepburn Retreat Centre. Although it will always be Conti to many of its staunch long term supporters, to facilitate the management of the guesthouse / retreat centre, we have centralised as much information as possible onto the retreat centre website.

hours of operation

While the transition to our new name "Hepburn Retreat Centre" progresses, Continental house will continue to be open to all on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and daily operation during the prescribed school holidays. Groups are of course welcome to enquire about weekday workshops, as well as weekend retreats.

The Saturday Vegan Banquet will continue operating weekly, with Kirtan on the 2nd Saturday of each month. The 4th Saturday of each month will be dedicated to a Rawfood Banquet.

Two cottages have been re-appointed and come with self contained bathroom facilities, period furniture and access to self catering kitchens.

We expect the tipi will be continue to be popular, complementing the existing accommodation; and also extending the opportunity for both individuals and groups to experience this sacred space. Please request the tipi option at time of booking.

Two treatment spaces are located with ready access from our private bedrooms. A Shiatsu room with tatami floor mats, and a dedicated Massage room. Ask at Reception to arrange a treatment.

If you would like to send a gift voucher to a friend, please contact us via the enquiry form on our Hepburn Retreat Centre website and we can arrange a combination of activities and payment details. We will then mail to your preferred address,

wwoofas continue to surface, probably as a result of the extended mild weather, and maybe the economic status as well!
